Aqib Talib was shot this offseason. By who? We don’t know, and neither does he (Though we suspect it was by none other than Aqib Talib).
That raises some question marks. Mainly, will he face any repercussions?
The NFL has taken a hard stance against guns in recent years (understandably so), and it wouldn’t be surprising if Roger Goodell decided to make a point out of Aqib Talib, suspending him for some portion of the season. And that’s without even considering the legal repercussions. Even if Talib accidentally shot himself in the leg, Plaxico Burress went to jail for doing just that — in New York, not Texas, but still.
Oh, and then there’s the whole issue with Talib being shot in the leg. These guys are tough, but I don’t think anybody would blame a football player for missing time with a bullet wound in his leg.
Luckily, it looks as if Talib is doing just fine, as he was seen walking around at T.J. Ward’s charity golf tournament on Monday.

Now let’s just hope he’s running around just fine on September 8 when the Carolina Panthers come into town!
