The Denver Broncos didn’t have a great week, but Emmanuel Sanders did, as he and his wife gave birth to their second child on Tuesday.
Sanders, who signed a contract extension with the Broncos earlier this year, is having one of the best seasons of his career, as he’s on pace for 92 receptions for 1,179 yards and six touchdowns.
Last week against the Titans, he hauled in 11 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Two weeks prior, he caught seven balls for 162 yards and a score. If he can keep up that production over the next three weeks, he’ll go a long way towards helping the Broncos get back into the playoffs. Let’s hope little Zoie is Denver’s latest good-luck charm!
