Mark “The Shark” Irwin joined Jordan Kurtz and Josh Fremd on The MMA Plug to preview his upcoming fight at BYB 31. “The Shark” is ready for a rematch for the BYB Lightweight championship against current champion Julio Tanori. The pair put on a showstopping performance in what was awarded not only the BYB 22 Fight of the Night, but was honored by the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame’s 2023 Fight of the Year. In that fight, Tanori bested Irwin by 6-round majority decision and, in turn, at 21 became the youngest active world champion in both boxing and bare knuckle.
