The Denver Broncos roster is ready to compete for a Super Bowl.

They came up one game short last year, losing in the AFC Championship Game.

But they didn’t have Bo Nix, who landed in one Top 100 NFL players list this offseason.

Denver Broncos roster chock full of talent heading into 2026

We’re about three weeks away from rookies reporting for training camp, and a month away from veterans showing up to Dove Valley.

And when the entire team gets to south Denver, they’ll be part of one of the best teams in the NFL.

That, per Pro Football Network.

They recently ranked the the best rosters in the NFL and the Broncos were in the top 5.

PFSN gave the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks the best roster, followed by the LA Rams, New England Patriots, and then the Denver Broncos ranked No. 4 overall.

Denver has to face all of those teams ahead of them this year. Both the Rams and Seahawks come during that 6-game gauntlet to start the season.

The Broncos have been boosted by their dominant defense the last few years. In 2025, there was an argument to be made that it was the best defense in the entire NFL.

From PFSN: “Denver checks in at No. 4 behind the league’s best defense, which posted a 90.1 team defense impact grade and led the NFL with 68 sacks, 11 more than any other team. The Broncos traded for Jaylen Waddle to pair with Courtland Sutton, betting that better health for Bo Nix and a real second receiver push them over the top.”

Denver has indeed improved the offense, too. Adding Jaylen Waddle gives Denver a legitimate No. 1 receiver who can make plays in many different ways. But it also takes the pressure off of Courtland Sutton and the rest of the receiving corps.

Pete Prisco puts 6 Broncos in his Top 100 list

Prisco of CBS Sports put six Denver Broncos players in his Top 100, including quarterback Bo Nix who came in at No. 87 overall.

Nix has made some strides over his first two seasons and really impressed in the Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills. That was his final game of the 2025 season before being injured. If Nix can stay healthy this year, he should be able to continue some steady growth. Even without a breakout season, Nix is a top 20 quarterback right now and could find himself near top 10 in a few years.

Next up is Zach Allen at No. 77. Allen has enjoyed a resurgence in Denver and has become one of the best interior defensive linemen at getting after the quarterback. Look for him to continue that this season.

Nik Bonitto is Prisco’s No. 58 overall player going into 2026, as another defensive standout. Bonitto has been named to back-to-back Pro Bowls, was a Second-Team All-Pro in 2024 and came in fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting last year. He’s quickly become one of the most dominant EDGE rushers in the NFL today.

Next up are two anchors of the offensive line in guard Quinn Meinerz (42) and left tackle Garrett Bolles (26). Meinerz has been a First-Team All-Pro the last two years straight. Bolles earned his way to the first team in 2025 for the first time in his career. They’re the two best players on the best offensive line in the game today.

Finally, the superstar of the team is Patrick Surtain, who is Pete Prisco’s No. 11 best player in the NFL. Surtain has actually been a bit underappreciated lately, or slept on if you will. Some are saying he’s slipped, but he was named Second-Team All-Pro last year and continues to be a lockdown cornerback.

The Denver Broncos are ready for this 2026 season. They have George Paton and Sean Payton to thank for it. Because the Denver Broncos roster is stacked.

Denver’s Super Bowl window opened last year and it remains open as 2026 comes closer to kicking off.
