Regardless if any of the area teams make the tournament or not, March Madness will be returning to the Mile High City in 2021.
On Tuesday, the NCAA announced the sites for many future (between 2019-22) championship/tournament games. Surprisingly, though the list named over 600 hosts, covering many sports, Denver was only selected once.

That’s right, the Pepsi Center and the Mountain West Conference are teaming up to host the West Regional in 2021, which is set to take place on March 25 and 27, 2021. The “Can” and the MW previously paired to host first and second-round action in 2004, 2008, 2011 and 2016; also hosting the Women’s Final Four in 2012.
