Being a Denver Broncos fan is not for the faint of heart, and Sunday night’s finish proved it as they escaped with their 10th win in the most dramatic fashion. Despite some inconsistency, the Broncos delivered clutch plays on both sides of the ball when it mattered most. Pro Football Focus (PFF) released its Week 13 player grades, highlighting the best and worst individual performances.
Offense
Best
- OL Quinn Meinerz: 92.3
- OT Garett Bolles: 89.0
- OT Mike McGlinchey: 79.4
- TE Adam Trautman: 75.5
- C Luke Wattenberg: 72.8
The offensive line turned in a phenomenal performance — allowing just one sack and avoiding any penalties. The only non-lineman to crack the Top 5 was Trautman, thanks in part to his clutch 22-yard catch on 4th-and-1 that set up a field goal. He finished the night with three catches for 47 yards and received the highest pass grade (80.6) of any player on the team.
Worst
- WR Troy Franklin: 47.4
- RB Jaleel McLaughlin: 54.2
- RB RJ Harvey: 57.5
- WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey: 59.0
- WR Pat Bryant: 60.3
Coming in at the sixth-lowest was Bo Nix (61.8), whose unfortunate interception likely overshadowed his spectacular touchdown throw to Courtland Sutton (63.8). And while Harvey punched in two rushing scores, the absence of J.K. Dobbins was evident — Harvey and McLaughlin combined for just 59 rushing yards on 19 attempts.
Defense
Best
- LB Dre Greenlaw: 89.9
- OLB Dondrea Tillman: 85.7
- CB Ja’Quan McMMillian: 79.2
- CB Riley Moss: 75.2
- DL Eyioma Uwazurike: 70.6
Greenlaw’s second-quarter interception created a potential 10-point swing for Denver. He added five total tackles and a defensive stop to round out his impactful night. According to PFF, he allowed just one reception for seven yards, earning the highest coverage grade (91.1) on the team.
Worst
- DL Zach Allen: 29.2
- DB Talanoa Hufanga: 36.5
- DL John Franklin-Myers: 45.6
- CB Jahdae Barron: 48.6
- OLB Nik Bonitto: 49.5
Apparently, even delivering the game-saving play isn’t enough to keep you out of PFF’s bottom five. The site credited Bonitto with three total pressures (including a sack), three total tackles, and two defensive stops. However, he was marked down for a missed tackle and for allowing two receptions totaling 26 yards.
Special Teams
- ST Devon Key: 82.8
- LS Mitchell Fraboni: 64.5
- KR Marvin Mims Jr.: 60.6
- P Jeremy Crawshaw: 59.6
- K Wil Lutz: 65.3 (FG) 61.4 (KO)
Crawshaw currently leads all AFC punters in Pro Bowl voting, while Key sits at No. 8 despite leading the league in special teams tackles. His teammates have been rallying for him on social media, pushing hard for a well-deserved Pro Bowl nod.
