Colorado State enjoyed their most complete game, playing the “right way” as Larry Eustachy says, in their victory over the rival CU Buffs on Saturday.
Why was that win so huge? They not only dominated on the glass, but on defense, and listened to coaching in terms of getting the ball inside on offense, too. Simply, they listened to coaching and it resulted in a victory.
That win was massive for the team because it righted the ship at 4-4 overall going into tonight’s huge road game against Arkansas (5-2) and then Friday’s road game at Oregon (5-3), each Power 5 opponents.
We give you a quick preview of the Arkansas game and how the Rams can win tonight, as that game tips off at 6 p.m. MST and can be seen on the Watch ESPN app.
The second half of the podcast focuses on CSU football and their upcoming bowl game in New Mexico against the Marshall Thundering Herd. It will be Marty English’s last game coaching for CSU, and, it’s a huge opportunity for Mike Bobo to get his first bowl win at the school. Also, coaching changes are happening at CU, too, and how ESPN thinks the bowl game will go.
