The Denver Broncos are making moves. After agreeing to deals with the Steelers and Bengals earlier in the NFL Draft, Denver acquired linebacker Dekoda Watson and a sixth round pick in a trade package with the San Francisco 49ers.
According to Adam Schefter, the Broncos received pick No. 212 and San Francisco received Denver’s fifth round selection (No. 148).
Watson, 31, has played for five NFL teams since breaking into the league in 2010, including a brief stint with the Broncos in 2016. During his one season in Denver, Watson primarily served as a backup, but did record six combined tackles, one sack and a forced fumble in limited action.
After his time with the Broncos, Watson spent the last two seasons with the 49ers and played in 18 total games.
