Von Miller and the Denver Broncos have been in ongoing talks for weeks about a potential contract extension, but per ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan, the two parties have been conversing lately about keeping the Super Bowl 50 MVP in Denver.
The Broncos are attempting to put Miller on the franchise tag, but Miller publicly stated on Instagram that he will not play under such a contract. The clock is ticking for a negotiation though, as the deadline for any extension to be finalized is July 15 at 2 p.m. MDT.
On Von Miller situation, both sides have had "communication" in recent days.

Wouldn't be surprised if both sides talked later this week.

Miller’s agent said in June that he’s optimistic about a deal being reached, though at this point, there is still no definitive answer. Miller even so far as to crop John Elway out of an Instagram photo taken during the Broncos’ White House visit.
Miller recorded 30 tackles and 11 sacks last year while leading the Broncos to a 24-10 Super Bowl win over Carolina.
