If Team Colorado wants to return to the title game and potentially win $2 million, the ball is in their hands as they received a No. 1 seed in The Basketball Tournament.
GM of Team Colorado, Beau Gamble seems to think this is the year that Team Colorado brings home the trophy.
“We can’t wait to get back and play in this summer’s TBT. It’s been an honor to represent Colorado Basketball each summer at the highest level” Gamble said. “In our third year of playing in the TBT, we hope to take it a few points further and bring home the championship for the brotherhood of Colorado Hoops and all of Buff Nation!”
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) revealed its 64-team winner-take-all bracket on Tuesday with the alums from the University of Colorado as one of the four No.1 seeds, coming out of the West Region. Team Colorado looks to be the possible favorites to win the whole thing.

Team Colorado will begin their journey to a possible second consecutive championship game when they face off against Kimchi Express at 3:15 p.m. on July 15 at Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas. From there, the winner plays the next day at the same high school.
Team Colorado returns the same core as last year that led them to the finals, with Marcus Hall, Dominique Coleman and Austin Dufault leading the pack. They also have added some pieces that should set them apart as the favorites with former NBA player Chris Copeland and Pac-12 standout Josh Scott also set to join the team.
With the way Team Colorado is constructed, they should have no problem getting to the championship, you know what they say, the third time’s the charm. Tickets for the first round games can be found here.
