University of Denver forward Troy Terry has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Anaheim Ducks, the Ducks announced on Monday.

Terry finished his collegiate career with 115 points (45-70-115) in 115 games, tied for 63rd among Denver’s all-time scorers. The Highlands Ranch, Colo. native finished second in team scoring and eighth in NCAA scoring during the 2017-18 season, logging 48 points (14-34-48) in 39 games and leading the team with 34 assists and a +21 plus/minus rating. Terry posted 25 points (6-19-25) in NCHC play and had the fifth-highest points per game average (1.14) in the conference, earning Second-Team All-Conference honors.

Terry won an NCAA championship with the Pioneers in 2017. The Pioneers were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament on Sunday with a loss to Ohio State in the regional final.

Internationally, the 6-foot, 179-pound forward was one of four (4) student-athletes selected to play for the United States men’s hockey team at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where he led the Americans with five (5) assists. Terry also helped the U.S. win the gold medal at the 2017 World Junior Championship and the 2015 IIHF World U18 Championship.

In a message posted to Instagram, Terry wrote, “As a kid I dreamed of playing for the University of Denver… The last three years have been everything I dreamt of and more, and I can’t thank everyone enough who was a part of it for making it the best three years of my life. DU will always be my home, and I will miss everything about it. That being said, I am extremely excited to be joining the @anaheimducks organization, and I can’t wait to get started. #alwaysapio
