The Denver Broncos collected their first win of the year beating the Los Angeles Chargers in Los Angeles on Sunday 20-13 and in the win, validated that they’re a better team then the record indicates.

At 1-4, most look at Denver as a bottom cellar-dweller team that won’t make many waves this year. While this may be true in the big picture landscape in the AFC, this remains a talented team with several impact players continuing to make plays while beating a Chargers team that many had pegged for a deep playoff run.

Denver could’ve rolled over, prepared to sell off talented assets and punted on 2019, but now, this team continually appears to be progressing as the weeks pass on offense and defense. They remain in every game they’re in until the final five minutes and in the case of the Jacksonville and Chicago game, the very last second. All because of the play of their star power and some depth pieces.

Sunday, it was the unsung heroes of the Broncos that stepped up against LA. On the latest Broncos Blitz podcast host Ronnie Kohrt breaks down who shined for Denver in an instant reaction edition of the podcast.

Kohrt also spoke about his offensive and defensive MVP’s of the game for Denver. Kohrt called it one of the best games of the year as a whole as Denver was firing on all cylinders both on offense and defense.
