As if losing to the Kansas City Chiefs wasn’t bad enough, T.J. Ward had to go and get himself ejected from the game, quite possibly putting his chances of playing next week in doubt, too.
On the back end of an 80-yard Charcandrick West touchdown pass, Ward threw a punch at Jeremy Maclin, earning him a personal foul penalty and an early exit to the locker room. And much like last week, when Aqib Talib was penalized for poking Dwayne Allen in the eye, Ward did not leave the game acting very remorseful, shifting the blame back towards the Chiefs instead.
TJ Ward said the Chiefs "were doing cheap things all game."

As you might expect, the Chiefs, particularly Jeremy Maclin, took exception to that line of thinking.
I'm cheap and dirty but you got ejected….oh ok makes sense

But before Ward could respond, his good buddy Von Miller jumped into the fray.
Good game today bro, use the @ tho.. https://t.co/MhI9miCfJH
— Von Miller (@VonMiller) November 16, 2015
This isn’t the first time Miller has gotten himself embroiled within some Twitter drama following a Chiefs game. After beating the Chiefs earlier this season, Von retweeted a video of him throwing Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce to the ground, calling him a “fake Gronk heada$$.”
All that said, it’s clear that the Broncos were once again in the wrong. No matter what’s going on in a game, you can’t take a swing at an opposing player. Ward knows that, and at some point this week he’ll acknowledge it.
But for right now, this Denver defense is clearly not a happy bunch of dudes, and I can’t blame them; neither are their fans.
