Just because they’re full-grown men getting paid millions of dollars, that doesn’t mean the Broncos don’t enjoy the game of football just as much as when they were playing Pop Warner back when they were kids. At the end of the day, it’s a game, and it’s emotional.
That was clear when Von Miller started yelling about the Mile High Magic in the air and when DeMarcus Ware, an 11-year veteran and likely Hall of Famer, kept the ball he recovered on the game-clinching fumble. It was also clear from the way C.J. Anderson came running off the field.
Not only is that one heck of a scream, but that’s one of the most enthusiastic skips the world has ever seen.
And after that 39-yard touchdown run to give the Broncos the lead in the fourth quarter, Anderson deserves to leave the field however he wants.
