For a practice squad player who hasn’t played a snap in the NFL, Jordan “Sunshine” Taylor sure does have a lot of fans — none bigger than Peyton Manning, of course.
While The Sheriff was recovering from a foot injury last season, “Sunshine” became his right-hand man, working long hours with Manning as he worked hard to rehab his aging body. And afterwards, No. 18 could do nothing but sing the praises of the undrafted wide receiver out of Rice.
He even bought him a suite for Super Bowl 50!
Now, heading into the 2016 season, Sunshine is in the midst of a battle for the third wide receiver position, and this time, he’s looking to make the active roster.
Plays like this will help …
And the crowed goes wild!

Jordan Taylor with a spectacular catch from Mark Sanchez. Don't sleep on Sunshine! (his second big play of the day)

Jordan "Sunshine" Taylor … ONE HANDED GRAB. From Sanchez. Deep left sideline. That may end up being the catch of the camp. Beat Nixon. WOW

Jordan Taylor just made the most spectacular catch I have EVER seen at training camp. One hand vet his head twisting.

#Broncos WR Jordan Taylor just went all Beckham with breathtaking one handed catch. #Denver7

Jordan Taylor made possibly the best catch we will see at #BroncosCamp, one-handed, falling back with a somersault about 30 yards down field

Taylor has a ways to go, but if he keeps making spectacular catches like that one, he’ll force his way onto the active roster.
