The Colorado State Rams scored 21 points in the second half and held Utah State scoreless after the break to emerge with a homecoming victory.
Led by a 60-yard touchdown reception by Michael Gallup and two rushing touchdowns by Izzy Matthews, the Rams used a balanced attack and played mistake-free football. Colorado State produced 240 yards passing and 224 yards rushing and forced Utah State into two turnovers, including a game-sealing interception, while not allowing any turnovers of their own.
