The Denver Nuggets look to close out their east coast road trip with a win.
The boys are set to take on the 24-22 Indiana Pacers.
Indiana is a team that revolves around the play of Paul George, and rookie power forward Myles Turner. Aside from these two, the Pacers consist of veterans and average NBA players.
The two teams lineup fairly even. Each team has a scorer, solid big men and a formidable bench.
Indiana has struggled as of late going 3-7 in their last 10; however, they play well at home owning a record 14-7 in their own building.
Denver is fresh off one of their best wins of the seasons and will look to keep the momentum rolling tonight.
The Nuggs are 5-5 in their last 10, but have played competitive basketball the entire month of January.
If the Nuggets want to come out of Indiana with a win they will need to do a few things.
Keys to victory:
- Limit Paul George’s scoring
- Play and stay physical in the trenches down-low
- Limit turnovers, and capitalize on Indiana’s mistakes
- Utilize the shot clock
Outside of Paul George and Myles Turner Indiana does not have much of an identity. The Nuggets will need to neutralize them as best they can if they want to win this game.
The Nuggets are 1-0 this season against the Pacers.
