Ahead of Game 2 of the Denver Nuggets first round series with the Los Angeles Clippers, Aaron Gordon has gone under the radar just a bit.

The Nuggets starting power forward at 25 points while guarding Kawhi Leonard, making hustle plays on both ends of the floor to help Denver to a hard-fought OT victory in Game 1. Can he replicate that performance in Game 2? And can he be so good that the Clippers are forced to switch up their defensive matchups and guard Gordon with someone stronger like Leonard? Currently, it’s James Harden guarding Gordon most of the time, and if Gordon continues to punish that matchup, some adjustments could help free up other Nuggets like Michael Porter Jr. late in the series.

On the Latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn breaks down an important matchup in Game 2 of Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Clippers to highlight the battle between both teams to be the best they can be. Can Aaron Gordon’s aggressiveness free up Michael Porter Jr. at some point?

Ryan discusses Gordon, Nikola Jokic amping up the defense, how the Clippers will approach Game 2, and other adjustments for the series.
