The Avalanche’s season has come to an end. The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Avs in Game 4 to complete a sweep of the Western Conference Finals.
Emotions were high, as expected, throughout the locker room after the 2-1 loss.

“Disappointed, humiliated. I think, to a man, we just weren’t good enough; not a single guy was the whole entire series. A team’s going to make you pay. I think we let down coaches, each other, fans, management. It’s on us as players to be far better than we were. The results speak for itself. Just tons, lot of disappointment right now,” Logan O’Connor said.
The Golden Knights held a 1-0 lead for nearly 50 minutes. A second goal late in the third sealed the deal. Gabriel Landeskog gave the Avs hope with about two minutes left, but it wasn’t enough.
