The Colorado Avalanche earned the Presidents’ Trophy with a win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday night. It is the fourth time in franchise history that the team has won the accolade, most recently in the 2020-21 season.

Martin Necas scored a goal and had two assists. Nathan MacKinnon scored an empty-netter to set a new career-high season record in goals.
