There’s plenty of blame to go around for a Broncos season that’s spiraled out of control, but much of that heat is focused on the most important position in sports, the quarterback.
Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole, who joined Sean Walsh and T.J. McBride of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7, was asked who’s to blame — and Cole answered succinctly.
“Well, the quarterbacks — the quarterbacks are awful,” Cole states. “You can’t run a functional offense with the guys that they have back there.”
Regarding first-rounder Paxton Lynch, second-rounder Brock Osweiler and seventh-rounder Trevor Siemian, Cole explained that “none of them have demonstrated any kind of consistent ability to perform. Now, do you want to put that on John Elway, or do you want to put on Vance Joseph, or Mike McCoy, cause there’s always plenty [of criticism] to go around, but at the end of the day, you can’t look at any of those three guys and say, ‘I see potential for a player’ out of any one of them.”
