Patrick Surtain II does it all. 3x Mile High Sports magazine cover gracer, NFL Pro Bowler, NFL All-Pro, and NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
Surtain is the game, and he knows how to play it. On Monday evening, the NFL Network’s new social media rollout of their famous NFL Top 100 Players crowned the All-Pro cornerback with the 10th spot (he should be No.1 if it were up to us), which shows how respected he is league-wide.

Last year, Surtain came in at 52, and his D-MVP campaign propelled him into New Heights, move over, Travis and Jason.
“If I had to write a textbook on cornerback play, it would be Patrick Surtain II,” Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey said. Cornerbacks, wide receivers, and quarterbacks have nothing but high praise for the Broncos’ cornerstone player.
Washington Commanders cornerback Mike Sainristil said Surtain is the standard at the position.
“When you have his measureables — 6’3, runs a 4.3, can move the way he does, it’s very elite,” Sainristil said. “He’s setting the bar for what the cornerback position can be.”
He’s a technician, he’s smart, and he’s lockdown. Surtain has written the playbook for what cornerback play should look like in today’s game that favors offenses. He’s the great neutralizer.
