The Denver Broncos were back on the practice field on Wednesday as they prepare for their Week 2 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Dre Greenlaw and another key defensive player were not spotted.
Denver Broncos Wednesday Injury Report
Dre Greenlaw is still working his way back from a quad injury that’s been hampering him since April, but his return could be soon.
We didn’t spot Greenlaw on the team’s side field, but during the media viewing portion of practice we saw him jog inside. It’s worth noting that since the Broncos didn’t place him on short-term injured reserve, he could be back relatively soon, but it’s not looking like Wednesday was the day.
Sean Payton said that Greenlaw’s progress was going well and that there wasn’t anything to update on.
John Franklin-Myers was the other player we did not spot during the viewing portion of practice, and he showed up on the injury report with a knee injury. We’ll see if we spot him during tomorrow’s practice.
