The Denver Broncos have released their injury report following Wednesday’s practice ahead of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders.
Patrick Surtain II, Alex Singleton, and Jonah Elliss were all on the field for the media viewing portion of practice.
After Wednesday’s practice wrapped up, Broncos head coach Sean Payton alluded that the Commanders game was the ‘target’ for Surtain and Singleton, considering each of their circumstances.
Surtain’s been nursing a strained pectoral muscle since Week 8, and Singleton is just two weeks removed from surgery.
Singleton was a full go and will play this Sunday, as he revealed earlier this week on Good Morning America. For the rest of the Broncos practicing, Jonathon Cooper, Pat Bryant, and Singleton were all full participants while Surtain and Elliss were limited.
Tight end Nate Adkins did not participate.
Denver Broncos Wednesday injury report:
Full Participation:
- Outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper – thumb.
- Wide receiver Pat Bryant – shoulder.
- Inside linebacker Alex Singleton – illness.
Limited Participation:
- Cornerback Patrick Surtain II – pectoral.
- Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss – hamstring.
Did Not Participate:
- Tight end Nate Adkins – knee.
The Broncos will be back on the practice field on Thursday during Thanksgiving Day. We’ll see if Surtain’s status improves to full, but he’s on track and should return against the Commanders.
