The Denver Broncos were back on the practice field once again on Thursday as they prepare to take on the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday. As injuries could impact Sunday’s game, Denver received some good news with the return of Mike McGlinchey on Thursday.
Denver Broncos Thursday Injury Report
On Wednesday, the Baltimore Ravens held quarterback Lamar Jackson out of practice with a back and knee designation. John Harbaugh said that they held Jackson out for rest, but Thursday’s practice report from Baltimore makes things a little more interesting.
Jackson missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday, and even though that’s the case, the Broncos are still preparing as if he’ll be under center on Sunday. This will be something that’s worth monitoring, especially on Friday.
For the Denver Broncos, offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey (knee) missed Wednesday’s practice but was present and back on the field on Thursday. He was officially listed as a limited participant. His backup, Alex Palczewski (ankle), was a full participant for the second consecutive day, which means he’ll likely be in line to be McGlinchey’s backup against the Ravens if the veteran tackle is able to go. If McGlinchey misses Sunday’s game, Palczewski would likely be the starter against the Ravens’ defense.
Safety P.J. Locke (thumb) did not participate for the second consecutive day, which doesn’t paint a promising picture of his potential status against the Ravens on Sunday. If he does miss his second consecutive game, Devon Key will likely get the start once again at safety.
