The Denver Broncos wrapped up their second practice of the week on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, and they had two players added to the injury report this afternoon.
Defensive end Zach Allen was added to the injury report with a calf injury and was a non-participant in practice. Wide receiver Pat Bryant, who popped up on the report with a hamstring injury, was listed as a limited participant.
Aside from those two players, the report stayed the same from Wednesday’s practice.
Defensive lineman D.J. Jones (ankle) and tight end Nate Adkins (knee) missed practice once again, which puts their status for Sunday’s game into doubt with one final practice remaining for the week.
Jones is a veteran who could miss two days of practice, but hypothetically, could practice on a Friday and be good to go. We’ll see tomorrow.
Adkins was listed as someone, according to Sean Payton, who was close to returning late last week, but we haven’t seen him this week at practice or on the side field because of inclement weather.
Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (hamstring) was a full participant again, which is a positive sign towards his return on Sunday against the Raiders. Cornerback and special teams contributor Reese Taylor (chest) was a full participant again on Thursday and should be good to go for Sunday’s game.
