When the Orlando Magic were on the clock looking to select a player, the Denver Nuggets had different plans and traded their 43rd pick and a future second-round pick to the Magic, according to Matt Moore of the Action Network, so that Denver could select Jarred Vanderbilt out of Kentucky.
Vanderbilt is a 6-foot-9 athletic monster and a former McDonalds All-American who only averaged 17 minutes a game and came off of the bench. He is known for his defense and is a very good rebounder. He averaged 5.9 points and 7.9 rebounds a game off the bench and defended all five positions for Kentucky.
