After years of causing offenses havoc as a defensive end for Colorado State University Pueblo, recent graduate Josh Bredl will now try his luck achieving success in the squared circle.
Bredl, 6’8″ and 275-pounds, was a defensive specialist. On the June 15 episode of Monday Night RAW World Wrestling Entertainment COO Paul Levesque announced that Bredl along with 39 other people were finalists and will be participating in the WWE’s reality show “Tough Enough.”
From June 10-12, the finalists will participate in a minicamp at WWE’s performance center in Orlando, Fla. to prove who really wants to be a professional wrestler. There will only be 13 finalists selected from the minicamp. The minicamp will be shown on the “Tough Enough Competition,” exclusively on the WWE Network.
“WWE Tough Enough” premieres on the USA Network on June 23 at 6 p.m. Every week a contestant will be eliminated from contention until there is only one left. The winner will receive a one-year, $250,000 contract with WWE.
Bredl is well versed when it comes to athletics. He played both football and basketball at Horizon in Thornton, Colorado. The Denver Broncos also tried him out earlier this year.
