The Seattle Seahawks selected the third Colorado Buffalo of the 2017 NFL Draft in the fourth round when they picked safety Tedric Thompson.
Thompson finished the 2016 season tied for third place in the nation in interceptions with seven. He was part of a formidable Buffs secondary that included fellow draft pick Chidobe Awuzie and Ahkello Witherspoon, the two Buffs selected ahead of Thompson.
Thompson had 13 interceptions in his four-year college career and defended 26 passes. He joins a vaunted secondary that includes safeties Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas, so he’ll have phenomenal position players to learn from.
