Following the Memorial Day Weekend break, the Denver Outlaws (3-4) handed the Charlotte Hounds (4-2) their first home loss during the regular season, winning 16-13 on Saturday.
With the victory, the Outlaws pick up their first two-game winning streak of the season, as they hope to turn things around to qualify for the playoffs.
The Outlaws found scoring from multiple players, as 8 separate players scored for Denver to lead them to the victory.
Following his dominant performance in his first MLL game, Outlaws attackman Chris Cloutier enjoyed another exceptional performance to finish with a four-point game (2 goals, 2 assists).
Oh, and he did do this in Saturday night’s game against the Hounds.

It didn’t take long for the Outlaws to get on an early scoring run, as Denver put together a four-goal run in the first quarter to jump out to a 5-2 lead to head to the second quarter.
Following a solid start in the first, Denver continued to build momentum that would be started with a rocket of a shot from Outlaws midfielder Romar Dennis.

After being able to put together a three-goal run to open up the second quarter, the Hounds would come back with a scoring run of their own, though. However, the Outlaws had the last laugh as attack man Zach Currier scored his first of the season with 5.5 seconds remaining in the second quarter. That gave the road team the 9-6 lead heading into halftime.

Following all of the momentum on the Outlaws side through the first two quarters, the Hounds came knocking back, cutting down Denver’s lead to a two-goal deficit following the third quarter.
With the Hounds continuing to nip at the heels out of the Outlaws in the fourth quarter, attack men Cloutier and Law scored in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter to give the Outlaws the 16-13 victory.
