Larry Eustachy has been placed on administrative leave from the Colorado State men’s basketball team, leaving Steve Barnes — his longtime friend and assistant coach — as the interim coach for CSU.
Saturday’s loss to Nevada — a close one against the best team in the Mountain West — was the first in six years without Eustachy on the bench for the Rams and the first Barnes has ever coached at CSU.
