If you’re a quarterback and you’re not intimidated by the Denver Broncos defense, you don’t have a pulse. Even Tom Brady thinks twice when he’s going up against Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware. That’s all the more true when those quarterbacks realize there’s a crazy person on the Denver defensive line — in a good way, of course.
Derek Wolfe is a monster. He plays with a natural ferocity unmatched by most of the NFL, and he’s not afraid to make opponents as uncomfortable as possible, both physically and mentally.
One of his go-to moves, aside from sacking the opposing team’s passer, is to tell quarterbacks that he’s going to eat their kids.
Yep, you heard that right. Wolfe is going to eat someone’s kids. At least, he says he will.
We learned last year that Wolfe had threatened to eat Tom Brady’s lil’ kiddos, and apparently he did the same to Philip Rivers. Somehow, that had an ill effect on their relationship.
"Don't like him. Not the kind of guy I'd hang out with. Ever since I told him I'd eat his kids, just hasn't been the same." Wolfe on Rivers

That sounds like quite the threat, but when you consider that Rivers has eight children (!!), the Chargers’ franchise quarterback must have quickly realized that he was dealing with a dangerous man.
It’s no wonder they don’t get along.
