The Denver Broncos are relatively healthy going into Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders at home as the team prepares to debut their 77′ throwbacks in an AFC West Divisional rivalry. Wednesday’s practice was the first on-field day for both teams ahead of Sunday’s game.

In Denver, there’s a focused, but relaxed vibe around the team after they won two straight games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets, while in Las Vegas, distractions seem to be running wild.

Denver Broncos Wednesday injury report

As the Denver Broncos took the field today for the start of practice, there weren’t many players off on the side field, which is a good sign entering Week 5. The only players spotted on the side field were players who are currently on injured reserve — outside linebacker Baron Browning, cornerback Damarri Mathis, offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey, running back Audric Estime, and linebacker Drew Sanders. Everybody else was in attendance.

On Denver’s injury report, there are only three players listed following Wednesday’s practice. Safety JL Skinner, wide receiver Josh Reynolds, and running back Tyler Badie headlined the report.

Skinner (ankle) returned to practice for the first time on Wednesday since he suffered an ankle injury in Denver’s Week 2 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers, forcing him to miss Week 3 and Week 4. He was a limited participant on Wednesday. During open locker room, Skinner said that his ankle is feeling much better, which is a promising sign if he continues to progress throughout the week.

Reynolds (foot) was a full participant. He’s been dealing with Achilles tendonitis since training camp but has been managing it without issue. Wednesday’s practice was the first time since Week 1 that he had been a full participant on the first day of weekly practice.

Badie was the only player who did not participate on Wednesday after he suffered a back injury in Sunday’s win against the Jets.

The Raiders on the other hand had 11 players listed as DNP on Wednesday, including WR Davante Adams who is currently dealing with a hamstring injury amidst wanting a trade. DE Maxx Crosby is battling an ankle injury and also did not participate.
