The Denver Broncos have made some corresponding roster moves to make room for two tryout players who were in attendance this past week at rookie minicamp.

Denver Broncos sign two tryout players to roster

The Denver Broncos are in the process of trying to best fill out their 90-man roster for June’s first installment of OTAs and minicamp before the team ultimately reports for training camp at the end of July.

There will be some fluctuations on this roster between now and training camp as Sean Payton and his staff try to formalize the best 90-man roster they can.

After the team wrapped up rookie minicamp this past weekend, they extended invites to two tryout players who impressed enough to be signed to the roster.

Wide receiver Michael Woods II and cornerback Paul Manning were signed to the roster on Monday, first reported by Mike Klis of 9News.

Woods II is a fourth-year NFL player who spent time previously with the Cleveland Browns, where he caught 12 total passes for 110 yards, with seven of his 12 passes moving the chains for a first down.

Manning is an undrafted rookie cornerback out of Henderson State, where he played in 32 career games from 2022-2025, coming up with three career interceptions, 51 tackles, and 16 passes defensed.

To make room for Manning and Woods II on the roster, the team released William Wright, who was an undrafted free agent from Tennessee, and running back Deuce Vaughn, which brings the roster total to 91 players. Punter Jeremy Crawshaw was granted the International Exemption designation, which means he won’t count against the Broncos’ roster until the regular season rolls around, giving them an additional roster spot to work with.
