Yes, the Nuggets are 15-11. Yes, the Nuggets are 4-1 in their last five games. For whatever reason, that doesn’t seem to be putting them in a great place to give effort and intensity consistently.
Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are the leaders on the floor. Michael Malone is the leader on the sidelines. Between those three, the Nuggets should be directed more consistently toward playing harder, making hustle plays, and doing the little things to win. There are some players on the Nuggets making those plays, but for whatever reason, it’s not happening regularly.
