For the last handful of years, the Denver Broncos have had a pretty lengthy injury report leading into the regular season. However, going into Sunday’s season opener against the Seattle Seahawks, the team has no players listed on their injury report.

Denver Broncos have clean injury report vs. Seattle Seahawks

Sunday’s season opener against the Seattle Seahawks will help set the tone for the Denver Broncos as they open things up on the road. Going into Sunday’s game, the Broncos will have their 53-man roster fully on deck, with zero players listed on the team’s injury report.

Things can always pop up throughout the week, but this is a great sign for Sean Payton and his newly revamped roster in the post-Russell Wilson era.

The only thing to keep an eye on is safety Brandon Jones who is coming off of a hamstring injury that lingered all throughout training camp. He and every other player on Denver’s roster has been present for practice all week.

On the other hand, the Seahawks have several players on their injury report that they released on Wednesday.

Seattle Seahawks Injury Report:

  • Wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh) – limited.
  • Tight end Pharoah Brown (foot) – did not participate.
  • Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (knee) – did not participate.
  • Tight end Noah Fant (toe) – limited.
  • Safety Raysahwn Jenkins (calf) – limited.
  • Linebacker Dre’Mont Jones (hamstring) – limited.

Former Broncos Dre’Mont Jones and Noah Fant both appear on Seattle’s injury report, and their status will continue to be monitored this week. Uchenna Nwosu will more than likely miss this game as he continues to recover from a knee injury he sustained a few weeks ago. Tyler Lockett will be an intriguing name to watch, considering he’ll be one of the biggest threats to the Broncos’ secondary on Sunday if he plays.

The Denver Broncos will kick off against the Seahawks on CBS on Sunday at 2:05 p.m. MT.
