Denver’s offseason has been a bit of a bumpy ride, and with the loss of star quarterback Peyton Manning, it’s been hard for fans to focus on anything except filling his giant shoes. Though Kaepernick has been the hot topic in the Mile High for the last several weeks, it looks like the Broncos have been looking into other options.
According to Jeff Legwold and Ian Rapport, the Broncos will be bringing in several potential rookie quarterbacks for pre-draft visits.
With Kaepernick talks in holding pattern, #Broncos have QB Dak Prescott in for a draft visit today — had La. Tech QB Jeff Driskel in Tues.

At 6-foot-2, Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott passed for 3,793 yards and thew 29 passing touchdowns, adding another 10 on the ground, during the 2015 season, becoming one of two players to complete such a feat in SEC history — the other being Tim Tebow. The quarterback has proven himself on and off the field, earning 38 school records during his collegiate career.
Jeff Driskel, another quarterback on Broncos’ radar, impressed during his five-year career. After transferring to Louisiana Tech from the University of Florida, Driskel was named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year.
#Broncos, who still need a QB, have an area scout at #Memphis QB Paxton Lynch's Pro Day. No worries. They'll have him for a predraft visit

And if those two don’t impress you enough … Memphis’ Paxton Lynch should do the job. Lynch has been projected by many to be the Broncos’ selection at pick 31 and has some of the highest upside in the draft.
#Utah RB Devontae Booker has a pre-draft visit with the #Broncos today, source said. Still an area of need.

Although it’s hard for the Broncos to think about any position besides quarterback, they’re still looking to fill a need at running back, and Devontae Booker may be the guy for the job. At 212 pounds, he has power and quickness that could prove to be extremely beneficial for the organization. With 80 receptions in 2014-15, he flashes elite receiving ability, too.
The 2016 NFL draft will no doubt be an interesting one, and with these guys on Denver’s mind, the organization may be looking much better because of it.
